Apex Announces Threaded Barrel for 3.7″ FN 509 Compact MRD
Apex Tactical Specialties is expanding its pistol barrel lineup with the addition of a new threaded barrel for the FN 509 Compact MRD model pistols. This new offering comes just days after Apex announced their new threaded barrel for the compact M&P9 M2.0. The new barrel is available now for pre-order and is slated to officially begin shipping on May 5th.
The Apex 9mm Threaded Barrel is designed specifically for the FN 509 Compact MRD model pistols with a factory 3.70″ barrel. The cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel has a black Melonite finish and features a 1:10″ twist rate that is designed for optimal accuracy performance. FN Remains Fully Operational During COVID-19
FN America, LLC would like to inform its customers that the company has been designated as an essential business to the Defense Industrial Base by the Department of Defense and the state of South Carolina. The company’s production facility, based in Columbia, South Carolina, remains open and is operating at full capacity to deliver against FN’s multiple military contracts and customer orders. FN’s two other locations in Virginia also remain open and at full operation, as well.

South Carolina Department of Public Safety Selects FN15 Patrol Carbine
FN America, LLC is pleased to announce that South Carolina Department of Public Safety has selected the FN 15 Patrol Carbine to meet the requirements of their Highway Patrol, State Transport and Protective Services officers. FN law enforcement distributor, Amchar Wholesale, has delivered an initial quantity of 300 carbines to the agency with planned orders for an additional 300 units through 2020.
